About Elke Mackenzie
Welcome—I'm so glad you're here.
When stress becomes constant, your mind won’t switch off and even small things start to feel overwhelming, it can feel like you’re just pushing through each day on empty.
I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in constant overthinking, to help them find a clearer, more grounded way forward.
You don't have to manage this alone. Book a first session or reach out for a brief conversation to learn more.
Through a supportive coaching approach, we look at what is contributing to stress and overwhelm and begin to shift unhelpful patterns so you can feel more steady, clear and able to cope day-to-day. The right support can create meaningful change.
Supporting life's transitions
I'm passionate about helping people unlock their full potential and create lives that feel purposeful, empowered, and aligned with what truly matters to them. I especially enjoy supporting people through the many transitions and stages life brings—whether it’s career changes, personal growth, life's challenges, or shifting priorities—helping them navigate these moments with confidence and clarity.
My approach
At The Quiet Mind, I believe that lasting change begins with understanding ourselves more deeply. Drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Ontological Coaching and practical stress management strategies, I work alongside clients to create an approach that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Rather than applying a standard formula, sessions are designed to meet clients where they are and support the outcomes that matter most to them.
Professional background
Before becoming a coach, I held senior roles across government, health, Indigenous affairs, pharmaceuticals, and stakeholder engagement. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the complexity of modern work and life—and allows me to bring both empathy and practical support to the people I work with.
A personal note
Without a doubt, my most meaningful role has been being a mother to three fabulous children. Their journey through childhood, teenage years, and the transition from a full-time career to full-time parenting has shaped me in profound ways. It’s taught me the value of presence, adaptability, and emotional resilience—qualities I bring into my coaching every day.

Areas of focus

Stress
management
Through a coaching lens, we get curious about how you think, feel and move through the world—especially when life gets a little stressful. There’s no manual for being human, but with a bit more awareness, we can handle life's challenges with more clarity and confidence.

Emotional regulation
Our emotions carry important messages—but when they’re intense or unpredictable, they can make us feel stuck or reactive. I support clients in tuning into their emotional landscape with curiosity and compassion. Together, we explore how to understand, process and regulate emotions in a healthy way, so you can respond rather than react, and feel more grounded in day-to-day life.

Confidence & emotional wellbeing
When we get clear on what truly matters to us—and begin to trust ourselves more deeply—life starts to feel more aligned. I guide clients to untangle confusion, build inner confidence, and reconnect with a sense of purpose. Whether you're navigating change, seeking more fulfilment, or just wanting to feel more like yourself again, this work creates space for real growth and transformation.
Testimonials
Elke is one of a kind. Never in my life have I met someone so welcoming and understanding. I walked in feeling high levels of anxiety but left feeling like a whole new woman.
She took me through multiple strategies, with no rush, allowing me to open up, feel comfortable, and truly be myself. Her calm presence, genuine care, and deep understanding made the entire experience feel safe and empowering. I felt heard, supported, and valued every step of the way, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Georgia, Client
Working with Elke has been nothing short of transformative. From our very first session, I felt deeply seen, supported, and understood. She creates a space that feels calm, safe, and completely free of judgment—where I could finally unpack the thoughts and emotions I’d been carrying for years.
Elke has a unique ability to gently guide you back to yourself. Through her coaching, I’ve learned how to manage stress in a way that feels empowering, not overwhelming. I’ve developed emotional tools that I now use daily, and for the first time in a long time, I feel clear, confident, and grounded in who I am and where I’m going.
Her wisdom, warmth, and presence are truly rare. I can honestly say I’m walking through life with more purpose, ease, and resilience because of our work together.
